Praise-Papuri Christian Church (PPCC) is an
inter-denominational, multi-cultural family of dedicated
and devoted believers who have come together for the
purpose of glorifying God and advancing His kingdom.
Christ is the head of our ministry while the Bible is its
center; and is the authority on which we base our faith,
our teachings and our works. We believe that salvation is
found solely by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us
when He died on the cross thousands of years ago. Combined
with this belief is our commitment to helping those who
have accepted and those who have rededicated their lives
to Christ to grow in their relationship with the Master.

We
are energized and are passionate about this mission. We
believe that every individual is endowed with a unique
potential that should be utilized for the purpose it was
designed; and that same individual shall be divinely
inspired and driven to carry out the God’s purpose to
end.
Our
vision is to see God’s people set free, develop their
God-given potential, becoming more compassionate of man
and passionate of God.
The
very essence of our existence revolves around prayer.
Through prayer, we will lift up all that we do in God’s
hands; and through prayer, we will listen for His divine
guidance not only for our ministry, but also for our
personal lives.
PPCC
was founded in 1993 when, through the prompting of the
Holy Spirit, a small group of Filipino migrant workers
seeking to know and understand the Word of God agreed to
meet on a regular basis for Bible study. These meetings
became the means through which they heard practical
teachings on how to cope with the daily challenges of
life; and through which received encouragement through
fellowship with one another. Out of these humble
beginnings, and with the continuous guidance of the Holy
Spirit, the small cell-based fellowship grew over the
years in size and numbers into what is now Praise-Papuri
Christian Church.
PPCC
is member of the International Church of the Foursquare
Gospel (ICFG). “Foursquare" is a Biblical term used
to refer to the tabernacle in the book of Exodus, to the
temple of the Lord in Ezekiel 40:47, and to Heaven, as
described in the book of the Revelation. The term
"Foursquare Gospel" was given in the inspiration
of revival to ICFG's founder, Aimee Semple McPherson,
during an evangelistic campaign in Oakland, California in
1922. Foursquare represents that which is equally balanced
on all sides, established and enduring. This confidence in
the power of the Gospel is also expressed by the verse,
Hebrews 13:8, displayed in many Foursquare churches
proclaiming, "Jesus Christ is the Same, Yesterday and
Today and Forever."

Foursquare membership testifies to our belief in the
